MBA GTM Strategy Intern
MBA GTM Strategy Intern (Fall 2025)
Build the Growth Playbook for the First Athlete Financial Wellness Platform
Remote | ~12–20 hrs/week | Unpaid (Performance-Based Bonus Eligible)
We’re Fydo.
And we’re not just another fintech.
We’re launching a category-defining platform that helps student-athletes become financially, emotionally, and mentally elite, utilizing behavioral science, gamified learning, and identity transformation.
Think: Duolingo meets Strava, powered by finance and performance psychology.
We’ve completed the closed beta and built our MVP. Early feedback is fire (“this should be mandatory”).
Now we’re gearing up for breakout growth, and you could help engineer the GTM flywheel that gets us there.
The Role
You’ll be our go-to-market architect in residence.
No layered org. No red tape. Just you, the founder, and a greenfield opportunity.
This is a fully remote, high-ownership role where you’ll help answer questions like:
- Who are our first 10 schools, and why?
- How do we create viral, peer-driven pull loops inside athletic departments?
- What turns NIL income into a referral engine?
What You’ll Do
- Map the university GTM rollout strategy by conference, coach influence, and NIL flow.
- Design and test our athlete ambassador framework—turning players into platform evangelists.
- Create segmentation strategies for high/low-income athletes (we have 3 unique personas).
- Help evolve the MVP → PMF roadmap with real user insight.
- Work directly with the founder to launch, measure, and iterate GTM experiments.
Why It’s Different
This role activates Fydo’s 3 Power Systems:
- The Addiction Engine – You’ll design growth loops athletes check like they check Instagram.
- The Learning Accelerator – You’ll master startup GTM in weeks, not semesters.
- The Identity Transformer – You’ll help build a platform that changes who users believe they are—and you’ll walk away with portfolio-proof of your own transformation, too.
Who You Are
- Current MBA student (Kellogg, Wharton, GSB, Booth, Haas, Ross or similar)
- Experience or obsession with:
- Early-stage startups (especially fintech, edtech, or wellness).
- Go-to-market strategy, biz dev, or B2B2C growth.
- User psychology, identity-based design, or ambassador ecosystems.
- Bonus: You’re a former athlete or have ties to the NIL ecosystem.
The Fine Print
- When: Fall 2025 (August–December)
- Where: 100% Remote
- Commitment: ~12–20 hrs/week
- Compensation: This is an unpaid role, but it offers a performance-based bonus tied to key GTM outcomes (e.g., pilots launched, user milestones hit). You will own real outcomes, not busywork.
Ready to Build?
email brian@fydo.ai with a short note on:
- Why does this moment excite you?
- What have you built or launched before?
- What growth loops would you run if you were in charge tomorrow?
Founder’s Note:
I started Fydo because I lived the athlete’s financial chaos, and I knew there had to be a better way. This role is foundational. You’re not supporting from the sidelines. You’re helping us build the starting lineup. You’ll have direct access to me, and we’ll move fast, make things real, and learn constantly.
If you believe athletes deserve tools that match their ambition, we’ll build something unforgettable together.

- Build or instrument internal tools (admin, referral logic, feedback collector, etc.).
Who You Are
- CS master’s or undergrad (or equivalent experience).
- Strong with Flutter or React Native (bonus: Firebase, Supabase, Google Cloud, GitHub Actions).

MBA University Partnership Intern
MBA University Partnerships Intern (Fall 2025)
Build the University Growth Flywheel from Scratch
Remote | ~12–20 hrs/week | Unpaid (Performance-Based Bonus Eligible)
We’re Fydo.
A behavioral-science-powered mobile app built to help student athletes dominate their financial futures, using streaks, progress loops, emotional intelligence, and NIL realism.
Early athletes say it’s addictive. Coaches say it’s necessary.
Now we need to scale campus by campus, coach by coach.
And that’s where you come in.
The Role
You’ll lead our University GTM motion, targeting athletic departments, ADs, collectives, and compliance officers who are desperate for a real solution to the athlete money gap.
This is not “support.” This is ownership.
You’ll turn hypotheses into strategy and strategy into signed pilots, on a campus near you.
What You’ll Do
- Build Fydo’s University Pilot Engine: Who should we launch with, and how?
- Create outreach playbooks for athletic directors, NIL collectives, and compliance leaders.
- Craft compelling decks and ROI stories that reframe Fydo as “financial wellness infrastructure”.
- Design and test warm intro loops: Can we go from 1 team to 1 conference?
- Help refine university-facing packaging and pricing with founder support.
Why It Matters
You’ll activate Fydo’s 3 Power Systems from the institutional side:
- The Identity Transformer – You’ll reframe Fydo from an “app” to a cultural tool. What training is to the weight room, Fydo becomes to money.
- The Learning Accelerator – You’ll learn the psychology and politics of university sales—fast.
- The Addiction Engine – You’ll help launch viral team pilots where athletes recruit each other without a dollar spent on CAC.
Who You Are
- Current MBA student (Kellogg, Wharton, GSB, Booth, Ross, Fuqua, or similar)
- You’ve worked with:
- Athletic departments, university systems, compliance teams, or student life.
- B2B2C or edtech SaaS pilots with institutions.
- Influential buyers (selling belief before selling features).
- Bonus if:
- You’re a former college athlete or have worked in sports leadership.
- You’ve launched ambassador programs, pilots, or multi-stakeholder partnerships.
The Fine Print
- When: Fall 2025 (August–December)
- Where: Fully Remote
- Commitment: ~12–20 hrs/week
- Compensation: This is an unpaid role with a performance-based bonus tied to pilot launches, signed school partnerships, or university OKRs met.
What You’ll Leave With
- Case-study-level ownership of a university BD engine that scales.
- Firsthand experience in zero-to-one institutional selling.
- A relationship with a solo founder and team of advisors operating at the edge of fintech × edtech × wellnesstech.
Want In?
email brian@fydo.ai with:
- Why you’re a fit for early university growth.
- What school or collective do you start with, and how?
- Anything you’ve helped get signed or shipped in messy early-stage conditions.

We’re Fydo.
We help student athletes build long-term financial, emotional, and mental wellness using behavioral science, identity design, and gamified habit loops.

This is legacy growth, not just BD.
Compensation
- Unpaid, with a performance-based bonus tied to meetings secured, pilots launched, or partnerships designed.
